In this solo episode of The Redeemed Podcast, Lauren Burns talks honestly about biblical forgiveness and what it means to surrender anger and resentment without pretending the hurt wasn't real.
While reading Jeremiah 32, Lauren was struck by an unusual act of faith: God tells Jeremiah to purchase a field while Jerusalem is under siege and the land is being overtaken by Babylon.
From a human perspective, it makes absolutely no sense.
But Jeremiah acts on something he cannot yet see: God has promised restoration on the other side of devastation.
And that raises an important question:
What if forgiveness is believing God enough to release what happened and trust Him with what comes next?
Lauren also shares from her own journey of healing while writing STOLEN: A True Story—Kidnapped, Rescued, Redeemed, including what God has continued to teach her about father wounds, anger, forgiveness and healing.
